Interesting posts on the weight loss program guys...
Mine is actually the exact opposite. I have to gain weight rather than lose it. I weigh 105 lbs, and I can attest that gaining weight is probably just as hard as losing it. Lol Fortunately though, I think I may have some answers for you all that are seeking to lose some weight.. The best way to lose weight is, and this is an absolute must, cut back on all fast foods as much as you possibly can. That in itself will actually make you LOSE weight due to the immense fattening junk that's inside those kind of foods nowadays. My previous sentence is pretty much flat out stating the obvious, but it's an important key point for dieting. You won't be able to lose weight unless you literally remove fast food in your diet permanently. Period. Also, you might want to avoid foods that are chemically-laden with pesticides and hormones in them. Do NOT buy anything that contains MSG*** (monosodium glutamite), torula yeast, yeast extract, HFCS (high frutcose corn syrup), hydrolyzed or autolyzed ingredients. They are the absolute worst things to be put inside your very own body. Why? Because most of these things distrupt the natural balance of your endocrine system as well as your appetite. They overstimulate the glands in your body & your brain to force it into thinking that it needs more than what it actually needs. Despite the fact that you've just eaten something and feel full, the exact opposite effect is happening. So keep that in mind when shopping for food that you eat everyday or when you go out to restaurants. Instead, go local. Grow your own garden, go to a natural health food store, buy organic food from the farmer's market whenever possible. They are almost guaranteed to be fresh and downright healthy for you. (Note: they're cheaper than the ones that you see in the supermarket.) If you can't find any farmer's market open in your area, then go for the fresh produce section (i.e. fruits and veggies) in your chain store. My #1 rule of thumb is: Eat nutrient-dense foods and cut back on the trans-fat. Preferrably local veggies and fruit. Do not eat dairy, since most dairy are filled with disgusting hormones that literally alter your genetic code (hence the reason why people get bigger) and some people cannot tolerate the stuff that's inside it. I'm lactose-intolerant and have never liked milk myself, and thoroughly avoided it during childhood. My health hasn't suffered from it. If you are to eat meat or dairy at ALL, please consider grass-fed beef and raw milk. Never buy anything pasturized, period. It destroys the natural ingredients in dairy and raw milk. If you want to eat eggs for an extra boost for protein, go for cage-free and free roaming. Make sure the chicken is fed a vegetarian diet too. For those who do a hard rigid exercise everyday, drink fruit smoothies or coconut water afterwards to balance and maintain certain electrolytes in your system. My #2 rule of thumb: Your body must be kept into it's natural pH balance. Without reguarly pH balanced body, you can be sure that you will keep struggling to lose weight and be fighting an uphill battle. I'm actually a bit surprised nobody posted this before in this thread. Either that or I missed it and I mistakenly bypassed it completely. Lol Most people in this world who consume what the government or commericals tell them to eat, probably have very acidic bodies and must be restored back to balance with an alkaline diet. The pH scale must be left in a 7.0 approximate score, or at least nearly torwards it. To review, each food and drink has its own unique properties when it comes to acidic or alkaline balance. High sugary drinks score extremely low in the acidic scale, while some green vegetables are higher in alkaline. Choose the right foods and once you restore yourself back to balance, you can be sure that you will lose fat over the next couple months as well as gaining lots of energy. ![]() Here's a good simple chart to get started: Alkaline Food Chart - Official List Of Alkaline Foods & Acidic Foods | Alkaline Foods & Alkaline Diet My #3 rule of thumb: Avoid microwaves! Use alternative methods of cooking, such as slow cooking, pans, ovens, toasters, etc. But never microwaves! The very moment you press 'start', you're already destroying thousands of beneifical nutrients, probioitics, and essential vitamins in the food. Microwaves are VERY dangerous for your health and in my humble opinion, should be banned permanently. Think of it this way, if people were to use microwaves... Why not just grab a glass of water instead, microwave it & feed it to a plant or drink it yourself. Now that doesn't exactly sound very healthy, does it? Lol Our bodies are composed of mostly water, so it wouldn't make sense to nuke ourselves and expose it with highly toxic radiation...Also, for those who are wondering about the fat... I will be happy to tell you that contrary to popular opinion, not ALL fat is bad for you. Infact, your body needs fat to be able to function and survive. Without fat, we wouldn't have any body heat and our cellular communication system would be all but obsolete. The key here is finding out WHICH fat is bad for you and which is not. For example, you will probably not need trans fat in your diet since it is very unhealthy to eat and it stays inside your body for prolonged periods of time. Saturated fat however, is good for you and will not destroy or contaminate your body's system. It won't stay in as long as trans fat does, but if you're seriously considering a weight loss program, don't eat things with too much fatty content in it that often. Make sure you strike a good balance before deciding what you want to eat. (Hint: restaurants have foods in extremely high calories as well as fat. I avoid most restaurants these days unless my family wants me to go out.) One very last important thing, drink water! Always, every single day for the rest of your life. Make sure you drink at least 4 - 8 glasses per day (and that it's purified/filtered, absolutely no tap). The filtered water in your glass will make you feel more full each time you drink it. Also, you must avoid beer, soda/diet soda, gatorade or powerade, virtually almost all sport drinks and beverages filled with sugar. Check your labels/ingredients! Read them thoroughly and carefully. This will make you lose weight faster than you think, ma tsmukans/tsmukes! ![]() *** Check here for more information on MSG and the other ingredients that I listed above: http://www.naturalnews.com/020426.html
