A rather moving film about the clash between modern civilisation and the inhabitants of the Amazon is Where the River runs Black. Its about a little boy whos native mother is killed by intruders from the so called civilized world.. The little boy are taken care of by river dolphins and lives among them for a while. When he is captured and brought to the civilisation he is intent on taking revenge on those who killed his mother.
