Did you finish it?

I'll put it to you this way.

On bioware's social network site, there are a bunch of polls, here they are.

Did Bioware lose it's creativity in ME3's finale?

Yes
33%(8 votes)

No
17%(4 votes)

I didn't like the ending, but that doesn't mean it's not creative...
21%(5 votes)

Yes, branching endings make sense in the finale for a choice-based game!
29%(7 votes)

Mass Effect 3 Ending

Pretty good
2%(1 votes)

Good but confusing and should have more details as to what happened.
7%(3 votes)

Bad, plain and simple
12%(5 votes)

Bad and it just does not make sense
7%(3 votes)

Wasn't as expected
10%(4 votes)

Did not feel that my choices mattered anyways and that playing ME1 & ME2 felt like a waste of good storytelling.
62%(26 votes)

Now, because I pre-ordered the game, I've already bought it. I've paid my money and there's nothing I can do about it now. But to those of you who haven't, look at the polls, look at the votes and really think if you want to get this game.

On Metacritic, ME3 has a critic rating of 9.5 out of 10. It has a user rating of FIVE (yes, 5) out of ten.

Granted, I only went there yesterday, so my time there is limited and I don't have a long context of the kinds of people who post there, but based on what I saw yesterday, the conclusion I have come to is this.

I'll re-ask my original question though Isard, did you finish the game or see how the game ends on youtube?

BSN, is, a, cesspit. Bioware could say the sky is blue and they'd rage and argue how wrong Bioware is.

Beat ME3 just for Tali. It was worth it. Totally worth it.

I'd say that from my perception of the staff there when people have legitimate concerns about how things are being done from Origin to removing and then charging for intended parts of the game, which are unacceptable in a game that actually costs money for the game itself as well.

Might want to edit that because I couldn't understand your point.

BSN doesn't actually have a real moderation staff. It has two to three people who take time out of their normal jobs to try and moderate.

Being my usual spoiler-loving self, I watched the alleged horrible endings for ME3.

All I can say is, I feel like I did after watching the ending of an anime I saw before, Wolf's Rain. Rather confused, and relatively troubled. And also angered at the, IMO, poor use of such an action build up.

Not sure if worth buying at the current price.

After playing this game, I've never felt more alive, complete, and sad all at the same time.

I really do hope this isn't an end to the series. Even though the game allowed you to look into questions that you needed answered. I watched all the way through the credits at the end, I hope what they displayed wasn't a farewell message.

I'm a mess ladies and gentlemen.

The endings. What a way to ruin a game. Can't stand them, I think it makes the entirety of ME1/2 pointless.

So sad right now...so...very sad.

Meh, can't say I've particpated much (i.e. only ever read links there, not even really lurked), but that's just the impression I've got from it whenever I've followed a link there. Case in point.

Pokes head up from hole in ground...so are we continuing the circle jerk of hate from Reddit and /V about how Bioware is EVIL for its Day one DLC and horrible ending? If so I'm going back in my bunker, I have cake to share if people wish to join me.

I'm not sure we all think Bioware is necessarily evil, but the whole thing could've been executed much better. ME1 and 2 were excellent games, and there's no reason 3 couldn't have been even better.

IMO, the ending is its own masterpiece, but that doesn't mean the market will like it.
