It definitely is meant as a compliment.

I know... while Pandora shows "only" one large open wound, our own world is a bleeding mess in many places in comparison, to stay with the injury metaphor...
We still have those magic places, sometimes even people living there, unscathed, too, but those sanctuaries are diminishing, decreasing, and on the verge of vanishing.

A character in a Michael Crichton novel once said "Nature will find a way..." (Ian Malcolm in "Jurassic Park")... in the end She will prevail. That's my hope. Well in Avatar, I shudder to think what Earth looked like.

Guess which movie is shown in the Cincinnati at 10.45 am in a matinee this coming Sunday, April 1???

No April's fool here... the next Avatards have their chance for meeting auroraglacialis... I mean, if you like, that is

Kino in München :: Cincinnati mit Kinoprogramm, Infos rund ums Kino und die Filme, Filmtrailern und vielem mehr.

Looks like this has become a regular showing for a while - So there are enough Avatar fans in Munich to keep this in the cinema for sevel showings - I wonder how long it will last.
Just a tip if someone goes there: Take one of the front rows, the screen is quite a bit away from the seats.

There were about ten to fifteen people, including aurora, her housemate and me... it seems that the cinema officials think that number being high enough to keep the SE on their schedule... and yes, it seems to be a regular thing... the web site of the theater also lists it at Sunday Matinee on Easter Sunday, April 8. The caption reads: "Still showing in the matinee: the best 3D movie and the best mov ie of all times at once" - They're absolutely right about both...

the theatre is small and does not have many visitors. especially on sunday mornings, so I guess 20 people are already enough for them.
