My sticks generally take in the neighborhood of two hours but my tablet's kind of broken anyway, right clicks at random.

Roberto47: Actually, it was more like less than an hour on tablet. Most of the time was spent drawing the sketch with a pencil.

Moco Loco: Aww, that sucks.

I never start with sketches My drawings are too simple to start with, and I don't have access to a scanner.

That's really good, I like the detail on the markings and hair

Thanks! I wanted to add his dots too but then you have to plan them from the start and I thought about adding them in Photoshop but decided against it. I wanted it to look completely traditional.

Thanks! The smile was the main focus point of this drawing. Glad I managed to get it right.

IMO, not sure why, but he looks younger than actual Jake. Not sure if that's intentional.

So sorry guys that I didn't answer this before but with everything that has happened this summer... Oh well.

Clarke: It was kinda unintentional. Sometime I take artistic liberty when the drawing seems a bit hard.

fierox: Thanks for the comment and you yourself keep up your damn fine job with your 3D Neytiri and Jake.

On another note, here is the most recent artwork I have made til now:
