Good idea about reinforcement with a wire, I was thinking to do the same. Now how do I pack it in the suitcase for almost the whole day of travelling? Coil it up - like a coiled snake?

yes, wire is typically thin enough to coil up, its usually best to be put at the top or the bottom of the suitcase, just don't coil it up really tight

Here is my tail - or 'kxetse belt' more like: the belt is a piece of cloth matching to my little pareo / Tarsan-like hipwrap, with some rather long strips of velcro so that I can decide whether to wear it higher or lower

I 'borrowed it from Neytiri's birthday suit that I have & got some thin wire in like Tompa'Ivong (it DOES make a difference!) and ah well, some moderate beading... The tuft is just black yarn. I got fed up waiting for 30+ min in front of the hair shop hoping to get a black hair extension; it was closed with no timetable on the door so go figure if they were sleeping a siesta, have gone for a coffee, for a smoke, or for vacations. This is Spain for you - Spain is... different!

Yes, you did get to see my bones! Actually, I found a mostly decomposed oppossum in my yard and took advantage of it. All the bones I have are from animals that I have found dead. I would never hurt an animal for any reason. Don't worry, I promise I won't take your bones and make jewelry out of them. Can't wait until next year!!

a dead opossum??? wow girl your love for bone art makes you do some heroic deeds! I am not exactly squirmish, I used to translate medicine, including forensic medicine, but to cut an... oppossum, that takes some... guts!

you ask MOMs about it - I made him laugh like there's no tomorrow when I killed a mosquito & routinely said: "Sorry it was a self-defence, good luck in the next life". Not that it is difficult to make MOMS laugh but that particular time he was in tears

miaow yes I do say a little prayer (depending on the situation) in terms of the flow of energy, "all energy is borrowed, and one day you'll have to give it back..." it feels right. I just do it.

Do you know what I found interesting in the cosplay? That the costumes reflected their owners spirit / personality; many people were painted blue, wearing loincloths, feathers, beads but ALL were different & unique. Say Sarah & Jane MacMillan were archers - but each was herself & no one else. Txonä & Fiyerwall had lots of feathers - but each in one's own way. Same goes for MOMS & Itxeru's warrior hairdo. Etc. etc. etc.
That's very cool. I heard that I, with my tons of beads, looked rather Bollywood or Egyptian - and that's true! I used to do Bollywood in the uni & belly-dancing when I lived in the Middle East so it soaked thru into the costume and why in the world not? Vive la diference!

I forgot to mention - James was the only RDA but I am sure he would have gotten the prize anyway, he had it done so professionally! Hey James hope your recruiting speech falls into right ears!
