Thank you for sharing your experence as as many have said Avatar asks "some" people to make a move from our intellect to there heart in a very profound way and presents through very deep examples the colletive world view of how people who are connected to the web of life and there family clan as "The people" live, and our interaction and conflicts with them in the past and Happening right "Now". I beleve we all relate to this and deep inside many "want it back" this will drive world change if enought people share and value this view. Because Avatar is a "mirror story" at its roots what we "See" reflects on our very deep inner memorys Avatar "does not create them" but it does let us Reconnect to something we allways have had inside but repress in our culture, I found the fealing like discoving a great seed of Wisdom within. For people who realy grasped this understanding " This seed grows" and drives a very deep inner desire for our people to act with respect and accountabilty so does our drive to address the issues we now truly
"see" this can be quite painful inside and few on the outside can grasp or understand "why" ? While everyones experence is diffrent as we all relate to Avatars story in a unique manor there seems to be an almost universal understanding that our mainstream world view is very wrong many share these fealings " Avatar's Wisdom - YouTube through speach or artistic video example "Avatar Sing it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GivCapZuB6c and this has lead me to question deeply the direction my life and humanity as a whole where headed in, It realy changed my view on humanity and my world view as a whole as I reflected on the actions of my people, I took what I felt was the logical yet heartfelt next step try and tryed find the underlying roots of this deep "feeling" I had inside because Avatar in its is story "mirrors" the world view of native wisdom and is capable of building a very strong bridge in some I decided to take a look at the cultural and spiritual roots James Cameron used in the film and the astounding amount of research and respect that was there running under Avatars simple story. Avatar drives such deep inner memorys because it is one of few films that truly touches on the importance of Ancient wisdom inside us it speaks on our connection to our Ancestors and for some directly to it in a sublime way . this builds in some a very strong "bridge" of understanding and respect on how our people where "once a human family that worked together" our world view now drives such "A sence of seperation" as the system and the thought behind it drives our "mechnistic" view on the world where we are for all purposes feel like a cog in an asembly line "machine"
this "Illusion of seperation" where happyness and sucess is driven by the paper in ones wallet and what one owns stands in sharp contrast to this inner feeling of our loss of humanity, in looking at peoples who are deeply connected to the earth and each other and "see" the issues our world view is causing and the fact there are almost 7 Billion of "Us" I cant say going back to the old ways is the solution to our problems we will very likely need to develop as a people "technolgy to address our massive energy and food demands in a "earthcentric manor" there are many trying to warn us of this fact but there words often fall on deaf ears and blind eyes, I can point to one real world example that mirrors avatar
very strongly and may help people "grasp" the "fealing" Avatar left inside when people talk of there very strong connection to "Neytiri" and the connection of the relations betwean "Jake and Neytiri" please ask do we just "see" Neytiri for her charter , or do we bridge what she represents as she presents and teaches her world view to Jake from her heart this Connection we realy feel inside of we relate to our ancient wisdom inside
