hehe that's a definite improvement on a couple of occasions you were not shot cos HNM was around - is he still your guardian angel, or the Na'vi just stopped shooting you in whatever situation?

yeah, I was pretty impressed by that, too I remembered the part from The Teachings of Don Juan about a "worthy adversary": i.e. it's about that, even if you're in a mortal fight you still appreciate the skill & the knowledge of the other & in fact you can learn something from him. Once Don Juan made Carlos pass thru a frightening experience with a female shaman called Catalina, but later it turned out that the two of them "aytsahik" conspired to teach Carlos yet another lesson .Those tsahiks! Careful with them, one may face completely unknown things when they are around...

I had an interesting dream this morning, but a bit short..I've been thinking about it all day.
In it I was above the hammock branches in Kelutral at night and Neytiri bent down over the edge to show me a huge pale blue petal of a large flower plant that grew amongst the branches. It was amazing..Just made me imagine all this new plant life in Pandora.
that was a beautiful one! I remember your "Pretty Blue Flower" signature with Neytiri - was the petal in your dream anything like that flower in the signature?

I love when Neytiri comes and yes, there is a lot one can learn from her. First time she appeared in my vision... I didn't recognize her! I only saw a very tall blue girl with a green bead on her neck, & I couldn't take my (mind) eyes from it, it seemed to be shining like a little light bulb. I got obsessed with that necklace & started looking for it in stores. Only some days later I saw Neytiri's "photo" in someone's signature & thought: "My, it was her!" hahaha open your eyes Apache!

I have less dreams in general about arriving there, or if we do, the na'vi seem to already know us from our previous visits. It's like I finally figured out how to save the game

Wow Apache, seems you see Neytiri from your dreams and remember little bits about her. The petals were really light blue, almost white. They looked kind of fluffy as well.
I really hope those tsahiks don't cause more unexpected events in your dreams. Though I'm sure you'll be fine.

nice hope she comes into your dreams again!

yes, Neytiri comes sometimes, & it feels great to have her around i'm thinking, I'll post that particular experience (Neytiri & her green bead) here when i am back from work, cos it's too good to keep for me alone. I had it last year when i was new on ToS & a bit cautious about posting - meanwhile the Avatar dreams / visions were just pouring into my poor head, & I had nobody to share them with! but now luckily I have you guys on this thread, & there are also other options.

now I am even more sure to post that scene cos it had to do precisely with the healing & tsahiks (have I intrigued you enough?). And ah, thanks, but my personal "tsahik" - that character of knowledge who looks like Neytiri's twin brother, and who fought with Thanator in the air - he is quite nice to me actually. Altho the tsahiks - for what I know - sometimes make "tests" that can be scary, but that's the way of knowledge. Like, in the situation with Carlos, Don Juan & Catalina wanted to see if he was determined enough to continue the learning. The learning is not the bed of roses. "With Neytiri, it's 'learn fast or die'". haha I hope nobody has to die but... I guess what I am trying to say it's that the knowledge is worth the effort.

Linking out,

ok, here goes the "Tsahik Vision".
First, a bit of explanation: it happened during a foot massage session; this method is so soft that people easily go trancy & see some fascinating things (or else, they just relax & sleep ). Some friends went to the same course, & it's an exchange: you do it for me, then I do it for you.

That time, it was my turn to be first on the couch, & while the RL person was at my feet, I saw (in my mind) almost immediately a very tall blue woman with a tall hairdo sitting at my side & moving hands up & down my body. My first thought was: "Mo'at!" But then I decided to me impartial ( meh) & told myself that I was only seeing "a tall blue woman, so let's not assume". Still, I was convinced that "She was Mother". I was very curious to see what she was doing, & she looked straight at me & said, rather wryly: "You don't have to see everything!" I said: "All right" & concentrated on the music instead (Nature sounds: sea, forest, rain... beautiful).

When it was my turn to do the session, "Mother" stayed where she was, but I also saw "Daughter": a tall blue girl with a very simple necklace on her neck, a big green bead & two smaller ones on the sides The bead was shining bright, I couldn't take my eyes from it. "Daughter" first stood behind me with her hands on my shoulders, then moved to face me. I was pulling all sorts of "tensions" from the 'patient' (stress, hurts, grudges etc.) & giving them to "Daughter", & she passed them on to "Mother". They were definitely working as a team, a Tsahik & a Tsahik-apprentice. The girl looked very calm, encouraging, & generally kind; I felt very comfortable & safe in her presence. Iirc I even said: "I don't know who you are but thanks for coming; I really appreciate your help".

This session left me a bit... out there. I was very impressed by this unexpected & very welcome help; I kept thinking, were they really Na'vi? Then, as I said earlier, I got obsessed with that green bead necklace, started looking for it in shops & even ordered it custom-made (never got it done though). Then some days later I saw the same necklace on Neytiri's neck in somebody's signature here on ToS. I was like: "Wow!"

It's curious how I didn't recognize them! I guess I closed my own door saying to myself: "You're not really sure, are you?" Of course I had no proof (eh? what proof?) but I should be trusting myself more...

Anyway. This was the bedtime story for tonight

That sounds like a pretty interesting experience. It's funny though how much trouble we have trusting ourselves.

I had a kind of funky one a couple nights ago, where I was human on Pandora, and I went into a teepee with a plains Na'vi, and he was smoking a big fatty. He then handed it to me, I took one inhale of the smoke from the giant Na'vi blunt, and then everything kinda melted away and I was falling into blackness.

Then I landed in a boat on a river in a scene very simliar to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Then it became night, I peered over the edge of the boat, and I was in a Na'vi body. Then it ended.

Sorta funky dream

hehe this above ^^^^ was definitely funky!

Pity that less people seem to have Pandora dreams nowadays... or is it that they have them but don't post them...

Anyway, here is a short one, a few days ago:

I was gathering medicine plants & mushrooms, all bioluminiscent, that grew only in an area close to Hellgate - I had to do it very fast & run away without getting myself into trouble, so my ears were pricked up & twitching, & the tail whipping the whole time.

Uy, the RDA are coming! I disappear into the brush, jump on my ikran & fly away.

This definititly doesn't fit my usual Pandora dreams, it was a strange one that I had a couple naps ago, in those moments between dreaming and waking.

It's a 'Last Shadow' themed dream.

I was Na'vi me, and i'm not certain what happened, or why, but I was looking up and could 'see' the face and hand of the other also Na'vi and the hilt of the knife sticking out from my chest. As everything started to fade, all that I began to focus on, was the knife hilt and the awareness of the blade puncturing my heart. I could see my blood spilling, covering the hilt, and the moment became one akin to a buddhist moment, of no awareness, communing solely with the knife, and my life spilling, and my last thought simply being, hoping i might understand, on the other side.

As distressing as the dream sounds, I wasn't distressed nor despondant when waking from it. Perhaps because i was aware of the Last Shadow aspect of it.

that's tremendous! Most of all (imho) that yes, if you just take the content, 'the plot' - most people would wake up in cold sweat & screaming & later feeling distressed or despondant... but you were all right! I guess that (in bold) was the key - this awareness. You would know. As my Dream Interpretation book says, "the best person to interpret a dream is the dreamer cos s/he knows like nobody else all the aspects of one's own life in all their subtle details".

Well, well, if you're now "within Eywa"... drop us a line sometimes, via dreams or otherwise! until a tsaheylu tswin braid grows on my head...

Default Dragon gunship

A few days ago I had a scary dream. I was a Na'vi, not avatar. I flew near the flying mountains on my own ikran Syayvi and it was beautiful. At one moment I saw a very thin canyon and in it were flower wich weren't pandorian (I knowed it, I was Na'vi ). I turned in the canyon, I was afraid - what is this? The canyon came closer and closer, so I had problem with turns. I saw a orange light and I wanted fly away, but I couldn't trun. Over a corner of the canyon was source of light - burning Dragon gunship!
Some man in AMP Suit saw me and started with fire. I took one of my arrows and shooted him, but he wasn't alone. Second AMP fired too. I fell from Syayvi and I prepared for die. The man in AMP stood over me and smiled. I had very big fear! My bow was gone. AMP fell next to me and behind it was "big" Na'vi man with long staff. He helped me and we fighted for our freedom! I took my bow a shooted a soldier. My ikran came to help us too. It was hard, but in it was something beautiful. I waked up with my last arrow...

And sorry for my english

^^^uff scary dream! but I am glad it turned out well in the end

I am also glad you shared your dream cos lately it seemed that it was only me who was having Pandora dreams I still do, but in the end I stopped posting because it seemed to be mostly my posts

and don't worry about your English, an English-speaking forum is a good place to practice - and practice makes masters I am not a native English speaker either, but I chose this forum & not AvatarForoSpain cos practicing English was one of the reasons (although not the main one ) Besides, you'll get to know Avatar fans from all over the world & maybe you'll eve go to the next Meetup to meet 'other clans'!

I had one a few months ago that I never posted.

I was a Na'vi who came to Earth to help the resistance in a war with the RDA. I remember going to different urban environments, using different weapons (they gave me an LMG and told me to use it like an assault rifle). There was also another Na'vi, a woman. She was a fighter pilot (she had a special, scaled-up F35). We bonded during the struggle, and ended up mating up after the conflict was over (we won! ).

It was also right after I played the MW3 campaign, so that definitely contributed.

Two Na'vi are helping tawtute to fight for a good cause... that's a whole new level!

A Na'vi fighter pilot woman in a special scaled-up F35... have you been reading Ateyo's story 'Tsulfätu' ?? she is writing it on LearnNa'vi. There is quite a few of those scaled-up copters there!

Bonding during the struggle can be dangerous! but I am sure 'it was great"
