Avatar Museum?

Would it not be nice with an Avatar museum? There they could have life size statues of Neytiri and other characters, they could have props from the movie, they could have books, posters and many other things. Also they could have a theater where you could see the movie (in 3D).
Also it could be nice with meeting and conferences taking place there.

Maybe it could be modelled a bit from the Science Fiction museum in Seattle where they have alot of SF related objects but they also arrange film festivals and similar.

Perhaps an Avatar museum could arrange a film festival on the theme "movies that inspired Avatar."

Well, I do like the idea of a theater that's permanently playing the movie in 3D. I'm probably going to miss being able to see it on the big screen, where it is/was meant to be seen.

I think if you have such a place you could also devote a bit of it for educational purposes, i.e. informing about how people can help stop environmental damage, the threats that indigenous populations throughout the world face, etc.

I dont really think there's enough there to establish a permanent museum. However, a roaming exhibit would be doable.

It would be cool. I doubt the demand would be high enough for it though. Maybe after the trilogy is completed, they set up something temporary that shows all 3 movies and have stuff from all 3. Now that would be cool.

Once upon a time they had a exhibition about Star Wars at the Smithsonian:

Maybe once the story arc is complete a small exhibit could be set up at the Smithsonian. Set one of the IMAX screens aside to show the film(s) and put a bunch of the props on display. They could also tie in the importance of environmental conservation along the exhibit. Most likely would never happen, but if done right, it could easily draw a crowd.
