I know the feeling. As far as I know, not a single Avatar minimeet has ever taken place in New York (City).

The closest one I missed was King of Prussia, Pennsylvania early 2010.

Ooo...errr...well, last year we had a mini-meet in NYC, just before the Avatar fan meet up in Seattle for the opening of the Avatar exhibition. We were there four days, well two of us were with two other joining us for a couple of day and another on a separate day.

It was more of a sightseeing/holiday type thing though rather than anything specifically Avatar related. The five of us did the same again this year, but in Washington DC. We posted info on it for anyone to join us. Here's a one of the short videos from the mini-meet:

If I had the time or the money to do it, I'd more than likely schedule for next year's AvatarMeet. Sadly, I have neither.

Shame you couldn't make it ma 'eylan. You got the app! Cool! Actually it is Unil Makto we all have to thank really as it was his idea and hard work that pulled that one together. Unfortunately, he's no longer on the forums.

Oh, I don't know.... Lets see now, June/July next year. 8 months away...32 weeks...if you are able to save, say $40 per week, that would be $1280, which might cover things, I would have thought, and even if you can't make it you've saved yourself a load of 'wonga' to enjoy. Win-win

Well it's a thought anyway. Besides, it's highly likely that I will touch down on the East Coast first for a mini-meet up again so perhaps an opportunity there for us to meet up?

Just to stay on topic, How many Brits are there out there who would like to meet up?...or am I going to be overwhelmed by silence....(hehehe)
