Kaltxì ma frapo,
As many of you will know Karyu Pawl came to AvatarMeet 2012 and gave a TXANTSAN beginners Na'vi Lesson with the help of Prrton, Txonä Rolyu sì 'Oma Tirea. The whole lesson was filmed and a number of short videos covering the lesson have been edited together. Karyu Pawl has published these on his Na'viteri blog. Besides links to each of the videos there are also links to the lesson slides, the lesson hand out as well as audio clips so you can hear the spoken conversation examples. Here is the link to the blog: http://naviteri.org/category/navi-101/ Now go Learn Na'vi! ![]() Eywa ngahu, Alan |

Hey thanks, this is great
I learned more na'vi from that experience than I ever did from my load of flashcards (though that's more likely because I almost never look at them), best introductory language lesson ever.

Great! Yeah you are definitely right about it being a txantsan introductory to Na'vi. I must admit I ended up joining most of the time when I was meant to be editing it! Hehehe.
Well, I expect when we have our mini meet up that we greet each other in Na'vi! "Ngaru lu fpom srak?" ![]() Alan |

Irayo, Alan, for posting the links to the Na'vi lesson vids...and a BIG Irayo for doing the filming and putting the vids together, tsmukan!
Looking forward to watching and reliving the experience.

Irayo ma tsmuke. I must give a massive irayo to Karyu Pawl for allowing us to video it. It really was an excellent class combined with the contributions of Prrton, Txona Rolyu and 'Oma Tiera. It really helped having Aaron's txantsan tripod to use. My little one was far from upto the job.
