More updates =^-^=

Pulled the engine block apart completely, pistons, crank, cam and all









Now of course here's where more of the issues arise (things wouldn't be that easy with this car) On the bearings the crank rides on some scoring from heat started coming up, meaning oil wasn't getting to this part as much as it should've, and this started becoming more of the case the further the bearings were from the oil pump and the way the oil moved through the engine block






If you look closely on the crank you can see a slight indent on the left side



Thats all for now! =^-^= next i'm probably going to get the transmission re-sealed, or give the block to the machine shop and have them clean it up... updates to follow!

Is that engine wet or dry sump?

just a wet sump sir... might convert to a dry sump... all depends this isnt going to be a big a$$ drag car, just a daily driver with a respectable amount of horses and torque... theres more muscle cars that need to be restored in the future =^-^=
