Default AvatarMeet 2012 - Day 3 Video - Part 2

Kaltxì

Well, whilst we are on a roll, and just in case you end up getting bored of TV repeats here is part 2 of the AvatarMeet 2012 Cosplay Day.

AvatarMeet 2012 - Day 3 Video - Part 2:

Following a break for lunch the clan returned to the EMP Museum to take part in the Cosplay Competition that had been organised by Sarah, which was very entertaining. Of course, once in cosplay, you want to make the most of it. For many evening dinner was had Na'vi style as was frequenting the local Walgreens store looking for light beer and blue jeans. (You think I'm joking!) As night fell it was time to paint the town blue and much fun was had with many photo calls around the Space Needle with the public. Enjoy in HD:

yeah it does bring it back, doesn't it? When I heard that we were not only supposed to pose in the costume (if you can call it this way ) but also to make a speech I nearly died! OMG I said lots of silly things but whatever. Now the memory stays ... Sarah did a great job on organising this cosplay thing - but then again, she is an expert & she was doing something she knows so well.

@Alan: yeah man but you could have cosplayed as James Cameron! A blond wig & lenses instead of glasses & you're sorted - and can Still hold the camera! although, you might have had to shave your beard off...

I know we spoke before about it but since you didn't do it in Seattle, I hope I am not disclosing some state secret? It kind of reminded me of this dream...

ME as James Cameron! Yeah, I remember a number of folks suggesting it! Hahaha. I don't want to insult the guy....well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Besides I would need a 3D camera rig!

that's fine ma oetsyp tsmukan, you're the boss of your own cosplay - or the absence of such!

and, weka, I didn't plan to cosplay at all! I kept saying that if I do it at all, it would be some modest face paint, like Trudy, & the maximum would be an Avatar - blue hands & face & the wig, & 'human' clothes. It took MOMS Ball Avatar a good half a year to convince me but he 'got the result', and you know what, I had a great time - as well as the other cosplayers. Although, truth be told, I wouldn't do it without Candace who painted everybody, she was a real Eywa-sent, I can't thank her enough.

If you want to at least consider cosplaying, you can be, say, a lab technician, which doesn't require body paint. Cosplay offers a wide range of possibilities!
