Greetings!
I'm working on a quick way to learn the Na'vi vocabulary, using a well-known language site called Memrise. Give it a go! Follow the link, create an account. [Quick and easy], and then begin learning Na'vi vocabulary. It's a brilliant website, and I'm updating the list at about 250 words per day, so it should be finished by Februrary with fully updated vocabulary. Clicky! If you spot any errors, or have any criticisms or anything to say, I'd be happy to hear it and update it. Thank you.

ah. I just saw you post this on LearnNavi. I always thought vocab flash cards were a good way to associate words in one language to words in another language very quickly. I am a fan of associating words in the target language to concepts rather than words, cutting out the middle man, one's native language. Problem is, even tho this is better, it takes far longer and is not always possible. in any rate, I applaud all efforts to learn and spread Na'vi

), but I gotta agree with T.A. that flash cards aren't the best way of learning, although it is a nice attempt to spread the language.

This is a pretty awesome way of keeping vocabulary up and fresh in your mind. Awesome effort, I think this has great potential. Especially with those of us who have begun to understand language structure and like having small daily exercises in Navi.

Sorry for late.
Just wanted to say that I have tried this out lately and I am hooked. I LOVE Memrise and this list! ![]() Actually, I was wondering a few things about this vocab list: * Would it be at all possible to add part of speech data in, since the field exists but is blank for every word? * It only has 1000 words. it looks like it hasn't been updated after half of the K's. Will this continue to be updated? How can it be updated? I assume only by OP, the one who created it. |

Woah, first time I've seen this. Around November, I was looking for na'vi stuff on Memrise but didn't see anything.

It's literally amazing. I just wish it could be added to or updated like I said above.

I have been in constant email contact with one of the Memrise team members over the last two days and I am now a Curator of the Na'vi topic on Memrise. This means I can now edit this list and add parts of speech and add more words to it! Updates on the way as I get to work on it tonight.

UPDATE: As a curator for the Na'vi topic on Memrise I have made loads of edits to that list as well have extended it vastly and included mnemonics, pictures, and etymologies. I have also added part of speech for EVERY single word. Happy Memrise!
