Personally I just try to keep some of the values presented in Avatar in the forefront of my mind. I consider just about everything I do with the question "What will this accomplish?".

I don't personally have a lot of time to dedicate to volunteering, though I'd like to at some point- but at the very least, doing lots of little things (Recycling, courtesy, environmental friendliness, and so on) can really make a difference.

Avatar is far, far more than a movie. That's for sure.
