Good to See you Fosus! It's been a while but I see your status - pity! hope things sort themselves out. Nice weather you have over there, with 'white nights' when it doesn't really get dark... or how do you call it, in Finnish? Do you have any nice photos of 'where you're at'?
No such luck here in the Mediterranean, we are way down in the South but we have our little joys - like now it's the rose season, and roses blossom everywhere.

All said, it is not wise to cut the branch one is sitting one! and humans have been doing it for a while by now... yes, since the time of Industrialization - and even before.
It's not only about weather patterns, it's also about, say, the content of vitamins, say, in the carrots that are Considered to be good for health - are they really, with all the chemicals that they are fed while growing? I doubt that they are as good as they used to be in our grandparents' times!

I found a weather thread , well we have had a mild summer, still fighting a drought form last year, had some rain a few weeks ago, but no thunder :/, I love thunderstorms but they have been scarce this summer. This week it is heating up and we are starting possibly our first heat wave of the summer during the last week of August. 94F here today with sun and just a few cumulus clouds during the day.

Sorry for the double post, but the weather thread is lonely

Well we have had lots of varying temps this winter and the same goes for this past week where we hit our winter low of-10F on Thurday morning, then we had some ice on Friday night, then we hit 47F on Saturday and now it is 14F(-10C) with a wind chill of -1F
Soon spring will be here and things will start looking like Pandora again.

^WOW that is cold! Well were not as cold but we are 4F right now, looks to go down to 0F tonight and without snow on the ground this late in the winter that's pretty impressive for us, also feels colder since we were 55F yesterday.

It's been over 100f/40c here in Eugene lately - way, way more than I'm normally used to in Sweden! Takes some getting used to, but it's getting easier

^The northwest US is having a nasty summer this year, try to stay cool ma tsmukan.

Here it has been a wet and humid summer, before the meet one day our dew point was 83F! yuck, mostly though the dew points have been in the 70's with temps near 90f for highs, today though has more clouds and is only in the 80'sF.
