The East
Has anyone seen this? I think it is out in the US but here it still is not showing. It is about an agent sent to infiltrate a revolutionary group that does all sorts of action to defend the Earth - something like ELF maybe - and who discovers that the people in the group are not that wrong about what they fight for. I dont know more, that was just what I read in the summary, but it sounds interesting.

aw, when I saw the title of this thread I thought it was about Eastern movies! Corean, Chinese, Japanese... & I was going to say that they Are special, at least to my eyes: they have a very big beauty & aesthetic part, there are usually some breathtaking views, & not only that, there is a lot of color, texture, motion... a very special thing. Even a battle is 'not only about hand to eye coordination', there's more to it. Besides, it's a different point of view, a different way they see the world. I can't quite put my finger on it but I find it mysterious & attractive.
But no, I haven't seen the movie called The East. When it comes here I might have a look. And then we'll talk
