Very interesting to see that the number of protests globally, but also just looking a the US and Europe has increased dramatically since the 1970ies, the world in this infographics video seems to be burning starting in the 2000s and looks like it is ablaze in the 2010s. Amazing, given that the overall mood especially in the mainstream press seems to be that the 70ies and maybe some part of the 80ies were more active than the 21st century. I guess this is due to a significant underreporting of all these protests - being put back on page 34 of the newspapers or in the last minute of the news or such, so not many people notice that so much is happening. The facts are there, but these protests may be downplayed and largely ignored.
