I posted this on your blog, but I figured I will post it here as well
,I think I got the basic premise, but I am having trouble "carrying" the past stuff over, I.e. ayngal fpe' oer As I understand "you send to me" as "ngal fpe' oeru" but I can't remember why the "ay" is on the "you" word, or why the "ru" is only "r" Here is my try, sunu oeru yafkeykaherwė Also I can't find the "sound" for "'" and "é" And last but not least Irayo for all of your help ![]() I do want to thank you for all of your support I have started back to work so my progress may be slower now. But I will keep trying.

Irayo!!
Okay , I figured the ay, was for plural somehow, but was confused as You send to me seems singular? Sorry if this is a skxawng question ![]() Okay, so you can omit the u on ru then?! Cool. Oh and I will have to check on the phonetics thing again, must have missed it ![]() And yes, I was going for "I like snowy weather." ![]() Once again Irayo for the help, and I hope you have a good night/day, long work day for me, hopefully tomorrow night I will have a bit more time to study and hang out on the forums

I can see how it could be confusing.Quote:
If you think it flows best, or is easier to pronounce that way or if you just feel like it. ![]() Quote:

Okay! So if the it were a single person delivering the message then we wouldn't use the ay, but in this sentence we the message is being sent by more than one person?
I know what you mean about English, we usually just say wrong things until it becomes "real terms" lol, like "ain't" ![]() Long day today time for sleep, once again Irayo. |

I looked at the phonetics page again and I think that I seen the "'" it was in red, and labeled glottal but I didn't see "how" it is said, is there something that shows what it "sounds like"?

Tstunwi!(Don't forget the space between sėltsana and 'eylan. That was probably a typo tho.)Quote:
:O You're totally right! ' is missing from the main Phonetics page! I'll add it in there with the rest right away. Thanks for noticing this! Last edited by TireaAean; 08-31-2013 at 11:00 PM. |

Irayo!!!
Okay yes, that was my mistake(although my tablet does try to mess up my Na'vi words by changing them into ones it understands, :p) You have been really helpful . Had a long weekend :/ doing a lot of cleaning because Txantura yrrap kxamakx utral. Also thank you for the update on the ' so it sounds like you are trying to fake a cough ? That is what the pause in uh-oh reminds me of sort of? I will probably have to hear it sometime to really understand

I forgot the verb part, I figured I would forget something
, lol.Yea the auto correct is awkward, although if I use a word enough sometimes it will fix the Na'vi word! LoL that would be awkward ![]() Yea that was a freak storm on Sunday morning, we hadn't had one in two months(in the summer here that's rare) and I saw the lightning before dawn and I thought that it was going to be nice to watch a good storm then five minutes after I got downstairs I felt the house shake slightly and it took out a power pole and fell in the yard, so I spent Labor Day helping the family clean the yard, I may post a photo or two on the forum sometime. Hmmm... I think I am starting to understand So it is like when you are trying to push out the u on uh-oh at the beginning ?Okay here goes... Ngaru sunu oeyä tėelyan srak? By the time I put my sentence together it logged me out! Lol I have a long way to go. |
