As mentioned in the title, it's just a rumor, but...

According to Latino-Review (they call it an exclusive) Arnold would play some kind of human general in the sequel.

This could also mean he could appear in the subsequent sequels (if he doesn't meet the same fate as Quaritch did in the original Avatar)
