It's been a while since I accidentally killed something. I caught some snails in May that started to get sick, but I let them go once I noticed.

I'd catch more things but I ain't got a empty jar or anything. And I found another ladybug in my room, next to the dead one.

If you have any kind of clear plastic containers, they work really well with holes in the lid or mesh instead.

Make sure to burn whatever you catch.

Can't believe I've never repsonded in this thread. Yes, I believe that Avatar does teach us to see the beauty around us and to appreciate the small things, but not just that. It forces us to appreciate the beauty that is already gone. I remember walking out of the theater the first time I saw Avatar. I was greeted with a gigantic concrete parking lot stretching off into the distance, backgrounded by restaurants and a highway interchange. No natural green. Nothing. http://goo.gl/maps/bDjnS

After spending close to three hours immersed in the world of Pandora, it was quite a jarring experience. I realized that in that spot two hundred years ago, being less than twenty miles from the gulf coast, was probably dense forest. I think that was the point where something changed. I realized that if the whole world looked like this, I'd be missing something vital that until then I had never really cared about.

That's quite a judgmental thing to say.
