As you many know, an 8.8 Richter Scale Earthquake hit Chile the 27th February at 3:34 AM , this earthquake generated a tsunami who hit the center-south of Chile, more than 500 people died, death toll will probably rise due to many people is still dissapeared. That's the version that you all know, total chaos, lootings, military forces are in the streets to avoid them...
But I have my own story about it. Why? Because I lived that earthquake, everything started at 3:34 AM, I woke up 5 seconds before it started (I was really tired because last day I had P.E. and worked really hard

) , when it started slowly, slowly, slowly, and then became stronger and stronger, and the 8 Mercalli I could feel remained for more than 2 minutes, it was really hard to stay on my feet , a narrow corridor and everything moving... definitely you wouldn't like to be there. When it was finished , I waited to go to the lobby of the building, and luck was with me, 10 minutes after the big one, came the first aftershock, 6.9 Richter Scale, after that I went downstairs to the lobby. Turned on the radio to hear what was goin on, the first thing I heard "A bridge collapsed and cars are fallin to nowhere" , "Sh**" they said no to the "Tsunami Warning" despite the warning that the US gave , nobody knew anything about the South of Chile , why? a tsunami already covered most of it
I can continue with this but if you search for "Chile Earthquake 2010" in youtube you'll be able to see how was it. Aftershocks will stay for 3 months or even more... even a year, so It is something I have to deal with daily, the hardest part of the day is the night, when everything is quite, you feel something moving, and you inmeadetly think it's gonna start again
