Focus, come visit one of my classes if you think you can get along with everyone, especially my fourth period. Middle School girls are one of the worst things imaginable.
On topic of thread what we're basically driving at is Stockholm Syndrome. Maybe? I think people can learn to tolerate one another and not kill each other, but love? Ehh that's a stretch.

There are so many variables around individual people coming together like that.
Like culture, class, religion, personality, interests and past experiences in any kind of relationship with another person-male or female. I just don't think that it would be possible for any two people to form a friendship or something more, even if they both experience something together. Maybe they might form an acquaintanceship of sorts but after the event, wouldn't they just go their separate way?

Fundamental incompatibility can always happen, but people's personalities aren't fixed and they can always change towards someone, I guess.
That, and people can always put up with things.
