I kinda related to Avatar because of my hearing disability. I am fully deaf. Seeing Jake get into his Avatar's body and be able to walk again made me want to do the same and be able to hear. This movie got me off my butt and I got some good hearing aids just so I could hear the sounds of the movie. I went to the XD 3D theater with the new aids and it was an AMAZING experience. I get goose bumps thinking of it still! The roars of the animals, neytiri's voice, horses galloping, the waterfall, and all those other sounds were mesmerizing since I haven't been able to hear much in a LONG time.

Of course the story itself was amazing and captured my heart like no other movie in my history. It changed my life more than I'd admit. I thank Avatar for making me aware of what I walk on and how important it is.
