Irayo ma tsmukan. It was an idea to bring AvatarMeet to those who were unable to make it so they can be part of the experience too. I have posted of the relevant parts of the footage for approval. After that it'll take me a bit to edit them together, but they will get done.

I missed quite a bit out cos my old comp crashed & I got so frustrated trying to figure the new one out that i even stopped going to the fórum... while some amazing things were happening, like the Meetup!

So... what did you See at the Lightstorm studios?

It really was great. I wish I could have met you there. You seem very enthusiastic about Avatar and Na'vi. (I see you like using Navi words! )

I wish I were legally able to tell you everything, but I promised Lightstorm I wouldn't.

Ma Apache! Sorry to here your computer went 'poo'. At least you have been able to read up on what we did during the meet up. With regard to the visit to Lightstorm....well...not yet I'm affraid.

However, you were missed ma tsawl tsmuke. Yeah, suspect there will be another meet up next year - you have to come to that one.

I graduated from UCLA. I worked for a company that leased and rented cars to the stars. Ferrari, Lotus, Rolls Royce (Alan), 65' Shelby Cobra and much more. Richard Defuse, Eddie Van Halen, Richard Gerr, Jack Klugman, Mick Jagger and more. We also brought cars to the Playboy Mansion. But my favorite memories were from Skiing in Big Bear, A cabin in Sequoia National Forrest, and surfing in San Diego and Malibu. I surf dreams are my favorite dreams!! i hate to wake up from them. They are even better than being intimate dreams by far!!

We must also thank also their staff who also helped provide the amazing experience. This will live with us all for a very long time to come and we wish them the most sincerest best for the coming years as they ramp up production for the coming films.

All that remains are the sad 'kìyevames' and 'Eywa ngahus' as we gradually make our way home to our own kelutrals. So until next time...

Ah, finally I have some time to post here at ToS after the meetup...
Yes, we had a wonderful, amazing time at AvatarMeet 2014...I'm SO glad I was fortunate enough to be able to attend -- I had a lot of fun!

Irayo, Alan, for posting your journal entries for us to read here -- great stuff! And yes, BIG Irayo Nitxan to the following:
- the Planning Committee for putting together another awesome AvatarMeet! Good job everyone!
- Jon Landau, Kathy Franklin and everyone at Lightstorm for opening your doors to us and giving us such an incredible opportunity to see where the Avatar magic happens!
- Karyu Pawl and John for being so kind and generous, for inviting us into your home -- it was an honor and pleasure!
-Madrona Marsh for giving us a great volunteer opportunity, allowing us to help out the environment!

So, in closing it was great to spend time with my fellow clanmates and to meet new ones, and hopefully if all goes well I'll be attending AvatarMeet 2015 (wherever it is) and hope to see you all there.

you know what, I am rather amazed - even awed - about just how nice the people related to *the movie* are to us Avatar fans. Lightstorm, Jon Landau, Kariyu Paul (your list is good enough) - and also EMP Museum, & so on & so forth.

Just to think of it! when we first saw Avatar - we didn't have any contact with them, there were no Meetups, we just wanted to share our feelings with 'our own race'. Now - almost 5 years down the line! - it's quite a relationship I daresay; far from fading out, the fórums & Meetups are going on strong, and even growing and the organizers are pulling all imaginable & unimaginable strings each year to make it even better!

Remember what the EMP guy said in Seattle 2012, before we met Jon Landau? "Your organizational abilities scare me!"

You are so right ma Apache. The people connected with the film have been amazing to us fans. They really are as big a fans of us as we are of them and what they all have done to bring us Jim Cameron's amazing Avatar. This definitely goes down as a major life experience, well for me certainly!
