The way they manage to create an interesting sentence construction with relatively simple basics. verb modifiers play a large role there. the sentences really flow, not like Italian, but the individual words are more connected than in a language like say Dutch. take the simple sentence senshuu, atarashii kuruma o kawanakatta. The syntax is really simple, but the sentence feels like "one".
