Ok, so if passing trough te Eye of Eywa means transfering the soul from human to avatar body that means that in the end of the movie Jake did it, right?

So, he passed but lets say that he for whatever reason wanted to return to his human body was there a way of turning it back?

I'm pretty sure it happened. It looked like it anyway. As for going back to his human body: as long as the body is still alive, I guess he get go back if he wanted to, but I can't see why he would.

I really don't know. The movie ends with Jake waking up in his Na'vi body. They never focused on how they got rid of his body. And come to think of it. It'll be kind of odd getting rid of your own body.

btw what would they need jake's human body for? It will evetually roat out with time so I don't think they will keep it.

Assuming that his human body wasn't just brain dead, it would have died a few minutes after Neytiri took the oxygen mask off.

I think they buried his human body.Neytiri took of Jake`s mask because after he passsed thought the eye of Eywa his soul completely transfered to his avatar body. So his human body became useless.The way i understand this He would transfer to avatar body while wearing his exopack too.That dont matter

there are many fan fiction stories dealing with this subject and Jake dealing with depression and other symptoms of both seeing his old body buried and living in the new body, and you can read these in the Avatar category on FFN (fanfiction.net). some of them are quite good, and i hope several of the ideas carry over in the sequels.
