I can't quite believe he's gone, what a terrible loss.

I heard that he was actively working on composing music for the Avatar sequels, I hope that whoever does end up taking over for him will respect and be able to work off what he's already done. Still hard to imagine anyone else actually doing the music for Avatar...

This is sad, very sad only.
RIP James Horner. Irayo nitxan, tsmukan, for giving us all such incredibly beautiful music (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, The Land Before Time, and other films)! Now your musical legacy will go on in the Avatar sequels.

And Irayo, fierox, for sharing that really beautiful artwork of Jake & Neytiri with the glowing woodsprite.
