Default The Na'vi relastionship with the Sky.

I was thinking about the Na'vi's relationship with the celestrial world that is around them. Alot of ancient cultures were very interested in the sky and not only developed advanced ways of tracking the movenment of the stars, sun and moon, but the sky was very important in their myths, and legends.

On Pandora the sky is filled with so much more than on Earth, where you don't have just the sun, moon, and stars. What do the Na'vi think of the other visible moons that accompany Pandora? What do they think of Polyphemus, how do they deal with the occasional eclipses that Polyphemus would give Pandora( which would be cool looking by the way). I'm sure they notice that "spot" on Polyphemus and possibly even the changing cloud patterns on thier mother planet, what significance if any do they place on that?

One more thought, they could have a special relationship with the sky that humans would not have, not just because they can fly on Ikran, but if you think about it, the people look like they were "made" from the sky, they are blue like the daytime sky, they have thier own "stars" that glow every night(just like the night sky), and Polyphemus is blue and striped similar to the people.

Then there are the amazing arouras that they get around their moon those could be of importance to them to. Just some thoughts of mine, Irayo for your time.
Oh, and I apologize if someone already has posted a thread like this and I haven't seen it.

^Srane!! I always thought that was a cool thought, that we were the skypeople, but the Na'vi could fly without machines, and that the Na'vi had those aforementioned characteristics
