Default Avatar-Forums is back online!

According to a twitter post, as well as by visiting the site itself, it is clear that AF is now back online! It seems slightly unclear whether anyone actually bought the site (my guess would be that Lon simply put it back up anyway), but we can hope it stays around for long

Any AF members who came to Tree of Souls during this downtime are of course welcomed here with open arms at all times - and we hope that you may continue to be a part of this community if you so choose.

I haven't really been as active over here as I should be, but that has changed. I'd like to at least see AF, ToS, and Learn Na'vi stay up for years to come and the best way to see that happen is to become an active part of the community.

Myself, I'm just really happy activity here has picked up lately! It's great to see people still spending time as a community after all this time

It would be fun if the Na'vi language community and the Avatar community was united in a single forum.

In fairness the current communities are divided in a very natural fashion - Tree of Souls would not do well being as large as LN or AF used to be, as it's a naturally smaller, more close-knit community, and in the same way Learn Na'vi would not do as well being too small either.

The nature of each community lends itself pretty well to being separate entities, and I think the best way to unite the communities is through collaboration rather than merging everything into a single website and forum.

And hey, it's working out pretty well so far

No need to merge forums, that's what multiple tabs are for

Thank you for being so awesome and friendly. I love seeing the Avatar communities come together in a time of need. This place truly has been the tree of souls for several of us refugees from AF. I believe us hanging out here has made the bond stronger between AF and ToS and as Jak said I also want to keep hanging out with you fine people.

Praise be to Tree of Souls! Your hospitality has been quite something I think I'd probably buy Eltu an Aston Martin if I had his address.

Thank you all for the kind words! I'm happy that Tree of Souls can live up to its namesake

(if only Aston Martins came in Ikran colors! )

^This.
And I'm glad to hear AF is back up and running. I will always be a member of both AF and ToS for as long as they exist.
