I know I'm a little late to this thread, but to answer the question, I wouldn't choose coruscant, but I would choose SW. One of my biggest frustrations is our lack of space travel. Pandora wouldn't do much for me in that regard.

I have strong, hateful feelings towards civilization, technological development, the eradication of nature... coruscant simply represent things I would never accept. In fact, I'd much rather live on Earth than Coruscant - and that's saying a lot.

When it comes to other planets of Star Wars though - some of them would be amazing to live on.
I second this. I'm a complete and utter Star Wars-nerd, but I would never want to live on Coruscant of all planets in that galaxy.

EDIT: BTW, why haven't anyone mentioned Yavin 4 yet? It's the fourth moon, complete with jungle environment, orbiting a gas giant planet (Yavin).

Star Wars is awesome (as long as i would get to live in the original trilogy), but i'd pick Pandora any day!

On Coruscant you live in the midst of a vast empire and you can meet and learn from the most amazing creatures from a lot of worlds. Here you can be at the center of things all the time and you can always find something to do or see.
The drawback is ofcourse that there is no natural environment left on Coruscant, only glass, steel, concrete and other artificial materials. You have no wilderness, no wild plants or wild animals, no forests, no streams, nothing, just a desert of man made materials.

On Pandora you have the true unspoilt wilderness, you have forests, streams, oceans and mystical mountains. You have a rich biodiversity with a multitude of exciting animals and beautiful plants. And you have the wonderful unity with the Na vi and with Eywa. The drawback is that you are somewhat isolated, you have few chanses to leave and your knowledge will be restricted mostly to Pandora and its life.

Which would you prefer?

I'm suprised no-one's mentioned Felucia yet :O

Lots of huge weird and wonderful plants there... obviously it comes no where near Pandora, but still, its kind of simliar with all its' colourful flora.

As for the whole Corusant v Pandora thing, its hard to really compare them, since they're complete opposites. I'd have to go with Pandora though

In an ideal universe, i'd put Pandora in the Star wars galaxy, and have the best of both worlds XD

Pandora. I've never had any desire to live in the Star Wars universe, even though I quite enjoy watching SW:TOR videos on youtube.

Coruscant is thermodynamically implausible, so of course Pandora.

Because Pandora is so much more plausible.

If you swap every mention of Unobtanium for Cavorite, it makes perfect sense.
