As always Alan, thank you for documenting the meetup for those of us who had little time or funds to see it for ourselves. Hope you enjoyed the show!

Irayo nìtxan for the kind comments. Glad they were of interest. I still have the video to edit, but that might take a while.

One thing we did try, which wasn't advertised to well as it was a trial, was the use of WebEx via LearnNa'vi to broadcast live from the hotel located activities, which was a an evening meet and mingle and also a na'vi lesson from Karyu Pawl.

Interesting idea. How did that trial turn out? I did see a little of it mentioned on Learn Na'vi but I didn't see any of the broadcast for myself. Hope it got to bring in some people who weren't otherwise there.

nice pictures, thanks for sharing. i love Pittsburgh, but absolutely hate the commonwealth (read as communist-wealth) of pennsylvania. they may call that tax-hike-high-gas-taxes-no-rights place a state, but we who have left TAXylvania know better.

I think we had a couple tune in for the meet and mingle event on the Thursday, which was a bit test and trial thing. It did work in the end and we even managed to project them onto the screen.

The next event was the Na'vi lesson given by Paul. We had about 8 people come on line for that. In addition we had a group of the performers from Cirque du Soleil come and join us and they were well into it and taking notes to improve their Na'vi skill as they talk nothing but Na'vi throughout the show. It was great having them there.
