join_the_navi - please have a look at my earlier post. The way you present this endeavor makes it seem very spam or cult-like, and people reply sarcastically as a result.

As someone who has been deeply involved in planning this exact thing in the past, I would advise you to remove all presence of this project online, and then research exactly what this kind of project entails before getting the word out again. Also look at the way you express yourself and realize that some of the guidelines you put forth are very disrespectful. You cannot create a foundation for a tribal community by establishing rules independently from the people actually involved in it, and things such as "YOU HAVE JOINED AND CAN NEVER LEAVE" make absolutely no sense.

Who would enforce this? Why would this be relevant? These communities, even if they would solve every other obstacle which is extremely hard, have to be built on respect, compassion and collaboration.

With that said in all honesty living more Na'vi is a fantastic thing. I say more because living just like them is impossible, for myself anyways, I wont speak for others. There are a ton of things we can all do to make that possible that don't involve mailing cash and moving to an island where there is no government. If there is a piece of land that isn't Antarctica some government is going to claim ownership to it and regulate it.

Getting out and enjoying a walk looking at nature, picking berries to eat, making less waste, walking to the nearby store as opposed to driving, all small ways to be more like the Na'vi. Also all free. If youre on ToS you have the internet meaning you can connect with people who will help you learn Na'vi. I know someone who is self taught to craft as the Na'vi do, using as many natural objects to make necklaces, clothing, to be more Na'vi. I'll never be 10ft tall or blue, but the spirit of the Na'vi can be in you if you truly want to see a change in your life. Asking for cash on your Facebook, making threatening statements, that is not Na'vi.

The money is to get the supplies we need, clothing, wood, ropes, etc. Not everything is free

To illustrate my point a bit further, here are a few of the challenges a project like this will face:

• How will you allocate the land to live on? The only realistic way to do this is to buy a large piece of land, and this is extremely expensive. There has to be external funding coming from somewhere or this first, most important issue cannot be resolved.
• How will this society be structured? How will you resolve problems that arise between people within the community? The only reasonable long-term solution is resorting to a highly democratic process, whereas your brief seems to suggest a much less collaborative such. Having a single person making all the decisions is a very quick road to failure.
• What happens if someone gets sick or injured? People used to live without the aid of western medicine, but in a day and age where this actually exists it would be highly unreasonable to refuse access to modern society and health care when necessary. It's part of the hypocrisy of modern 'tribal'-living, sure, but most would agree it's a very acceptable thing.
• How will you actually sustain yourself? The idea that you would "hunt cows" - which do not exist in the wild anywhere in the world - suggests a complete lack of experience on how to realistically get enough food and supplies to get through each day. This is hard. There has to be a very exhaustive plan on how to do this.
• How will you deal with potential government restrictions in whichever country you settle in? Even with a purchased piece of land there are all kind of regulations and restrictions making things difficult.

These are just a few points, but your original post suggests that you have not closely resolved any of them. This is why people are replying in a sarcastic manner, as there seems to be a severe lack of organization. A $10 fee per person will not cover buying a piece of land. You cannot hunt cows for food. There has to be a democratic process. Look into these things more closely and you will find that this process is much, much harder than it may first look.

- Why the "Once you have joined you can never leave"?
- Where is the money coming from?
- Will the people participating have equal say in all matters?

It would go a long way in reinforcing the seriousness of this project.

The island cost 8 billion dollars. He crashed landed on the island and lived there for six years. The government knows about him but refused to tell his story to the media.)
