The day that I am finally in the theater watching the first sequel, is going to feel so awesomely surreal, how ever long it takes, I will be there.

you'd think Lightstorm/Weta would finish those 45 minutes of unrendered deleted scenes as practice for ramping up to the prequel/sequel production years, and give us a Avatar Ultimate CE just before the release of the first sequel. they know we'd buy those bad boys up, especially a 4K HD version of the Avatar UCE.

c'mon Lightstorm/Weta, do the right thing!!!

Best to contact WETA/Lightstorm with the fans requests to see the completed scenes that are seen on the dvd as unfinished. I'd love to see the Na'vi festival done and Neytiri dancing.

I feel like at this point, it could never happen. I know I was totally on the "JC YOU CAN DO IT" team but this is a bit much. I understand having incredible almost superhuman passion for a project you've thought about your whole life. I also feel like I can understand how releasing it in a climate of "sequels = money" can add pressure to making sequels, and if the ideas are there, a lot of them. The vision is out there, Avatar exists. Maybe he won't have the energy to do more. I don't know if anyone's already said something like this, but this is a distinct possibility after seven years and so much hype around 2010.

^ That is something that crossed my mind, and if that ever happened, it would be crushing, but Im still going to think positively, and hope for the best, In one sense the long ever growing wait time is disturbing, but JC is known for taking his time for projects, and he has stated that he wants this to be his legacy, so In a way this long time makes alot of sense, so Im not too concerned yet, but I wont lie, I might throw a party when I hear this... "filming has started"
