It may not bring the old AF back, but it could influence the decision. If everyone boycotts the website without telling a single protest to whom it concerns, the website will just close because there's nobody. With the number of fans in the community, you want to keep every single person.

i think he needs to do more discussion with the members, sounds like hes treating the website as some kind of chore - cutting costs etc. he doesnt really seem interested in the sentimental value of the forum
