Yesterday I bought "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark", and "More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" by Alvin Schwartz. I've read them both, and even though they're geared to kids, I found that some of the stories very creepy. Like the guy that feed kids to the townspeople. And the drawing are very awesome.

I read the first five chapters of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" last night, and it's pretty awesome.

I have the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark three books in one book, found it at a thrift store four years ago. I never have read all the HP books, I was in the middle of the fifth one when Katrina happened and I didn't take it with me so it kind of melted into the floor of my room, and I never resumed reading them when the movies caught up with me.
Recently I've just been reading film textbooks.

Four, by Veronica Roth, follow on book to the Divergent Trilogy, stories told from Four's point of view. very good, wish there were more stories in the book.

I started reading "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" today and I'm really loving this series. I love that the books are pretty much a magic themed mystery story.

i love the Harry Potter films, but they only contain part or some of the 7 books, each of the books are great in their own right and have so much more material, plot, themes, the growing danger of the return of He Who Must Not Be Named, each of the books is slowly but surely leading to the ultimate showdown between good and evil.

great storytelling, love 'em all! thanks always, J.K.Rowling

Yeah. I really love how she writes. The Lovecraftain feel she wrote for You Know Who is great.

Started on "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" last night. I already love it. The first chapter is really great. Very Lovecraftain.

I just started reading "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". Things are getting real for poor Harry.

Order of the Phoenix is very political and dark in overtones, and one of my favorite books of the seven book series. great reading!

I recently finished "The Right Stuff" about the US Mercury mission astronauts. An interesting read if a bit dated.

Good! That book contains my most favorite scene in the entire series.

How is it similar/dissimilar to the movie (in case you've seen it)?
