unindendified RDA shoulder patch

I found this patch on eBay, it is a RDA shoulder patch, however it has a red edge and on stars on the left side of the pentagon. it has the wings so I believe i it is a Scorpion pilot patch, however, I don't know why it's red and has those stars missing, is it a naval pilot patch? or some specific squadron patch? or did they do is because of holy copyright trash? I never seen one like this in the film. Please tell me
