sorry for not posting so long, but I don't have green rubber right now, which I need to finish the rifle, and the only store that has it in a relativly low price is under matnance, and the only other way is to custom order it... I have to wait

How do you order rubber? Does it come in a square? What quantity did you order?

I didn't know you could just order rubber. Intradesting.

You can buy it at a hardwere store or a shoemakers store, it comes in squares, the price that is seen is for one square metre, . I'm using a rubber carpet for this one, but I also use shoemaker rubber and oil-proof rubber as well.


the green one is for the buttstock and magazine, they are green in the game version (TERRA I)
In the original props only the magazine is green

Sorry that I'm not posting, but my mom went to the hospital a few days ago, It's not leathal but she will have an operation. I'm stressed up and am unable to work on the CARB for now, ecpecialy that I'm realizing a school project, that I have to finnish to 23 of june this year. I'm sorry

started the buttstock with green inserts onder the final lair that will go on next:


inside the magazine well. Notice I shanged out the side walls of the well to thiner rubber 2mm instead of 4mm, to make the gun lighter weight, since at the moment the rifle is a bit to heavy


Oh, and by the way, that brown stuff is Butapren, glue I used to assemble the lairs of the rifle, it's used also by shoemakers to glue rubber

My mom returned yesturday from the hospital, Everythings fine, I'm helping her but at least all the nerves are gone, so now I can continue on the TERRA 1

She had a bone infection in her toe, it hadded to be amputated.

Ok, so I made the left side, not much, because the right side is still missing, I also didn't make the fire selector switches, and I ran outr of grey rubber. that's why ther's so little progress

The inter barrel broke, it snaped off when the rifle fell off the chair... gotta make a new one, I'll try to re enforce it with a metal tube this time

I made a lot of lightining cuts inside the rifle,enlarged the trigger gaurd, sling attachment paint on the stock and added the notches for the accessory rails, they don't work though

Ok, so I didn't want to do this, but I had NO choice... I am abandoning the project, do to the fact that everything is going crap... I mean, look at the pics of the guns so far, The berrel is canted downward, the rifle weighs as much as a freaking M60 and I've just had enough of fumbling with it. I might return to this project later on, but right now, it just shows that I'm not ready to make a full size assault rifle. I'll try with the PDW, however, I won't be making a WIP thread on it just in case I **** up again...I'll post it once I'; done. I'm sorry that I wasted space on the forum, and I could not finish it... I'm mad at myself, but as I said- I might return to it once I will be mentaly ready to finish it

Once again, I apologize
