That's good advice-- thank you! I'm aware of the unwieldy amount of characters I've made, but as I poorly mentioned, I'm not intending to introduce all of them, or all of their names. I'm just a very thorough sort of person when it comes to things like this... so that if I need another character, I'm not just poofing one into existence that may not make sense later. I also find it makes it easier to describe macro reactions to things... it prevents things like, 'the entire clan gasped!!11!!' and instead provides a varied response, such as 'some of the clan members clucked their tongues loudly in disapproval, while others looked on with more reserved expressions.' By knowing the makeup of the clan, I know the spirit of it. : ]

Thank you as well for your advice on the short story collection. That's definitely a good way to solidify some things I've been debating with myself about it-- I'll be getting to work on it shortly. With any luck this will be worth having posted about! : ]
