Should the Avatars totally integrate into the Na'vi?

The core symbolism of Jake sully's act of transformation in itself holds a lot of prospects and leads Jake into an important core role , I feel there needs to a group of humans with good intensions to form the "bridge" between persptives ,, I am reminded of the powerful symbolism of a very real world agreement between the Haudenosaunee and European government called the Two Row Wampum but this has evolved over time and this is spoken on here ..

But real talk, I think all adult scenes are unnecessary.

- Gore - Just a cheap way to create horror, this trope mainly appearing in 80's slasher films that you find for £1 at your local car-boot sale and usually the gores so bad your left wondering if you just watched a comedy or a horror - I mean look at one of the most iconic horror films of all time, Aliens - no gore, and you barely even see the alien, yet it still manages to scare grown man-babies into sleepless nights.

- *ahem* "Romantic" scenes - I don't know how anyone gets through these scenes, I mean any scenario you think of whether your sitting with; grandma, your friends, your parents or even by yourself (tick appropriate option which applies to you) - it doesn't matter who your with these scenes are always awkward as ****. Even if I'm by myself, I always reach for the remote to skip past some 3 minute kissing scene - because can you imagine looking through your neighbours window l̶o̶w̶k̶e̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶w̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶c̶r̶e̶e̶p̶y̶ ̶a̶f̶ and seeing them sitting by themselves how sad with some dead ass serious face whist watching that scene in Brokeback Mountain or something

Actually I really enjoy scenes when some bad guy dies a horriffic, over the top death. Not necessary for the plot, but still pretty awesome.

However I think that gore/nudity alone don't carry any movie/show, there's no need to use that as a stylistic device in Avatar (or elsewhere) when the movie has nothing else to offer in the meantime. For example, even with those spectacular deaths GoT feels way too long for me sometimes.
But I don't agree with "all adult scenes are unnecessary", just imagine "City of God" or "12 Years a Slave" without violence and blood. Those movies just won't work without it at all. Or do you see gore and violence as two separate things?

You're correct with the "romantic" scenes though IMO. It's just awkward when GoT takes a 3 minute break to show people ****ing their brains out, feels so forced...

The internet has so, so much more to offer in terms of real porn and gore anyway, so that's definitely not the reason why I'm watching media that contains it.

Well lets try to get it back on the rails.

So we seem to conclude some kind of mix of the two, so what kind of place should they live? Hell gate or some other human base, a cabin like Grace's school or some kind of mix of na'vi and human technology and design .

^ This. Now I think about it, I do think of gore and violence as two separate things and my hate of gore repels me from most horror films - its always so over the top/fake and most often laughable - I mean sure we need to kill off [Bob] at some point in the movie but it doesn't need to be dragged out unnecessarily with entrails and all - then it just borderlines comedy (if not executed - pun not intended - well, by the special effects team)

But your right about violence and actually changed my view on it (have a pat on the back ), a lot of Oscar winning films can be extremely violent and definitely do not make any dark-humoured members of the audience, laugh. Films like 12 years a slave have plenty of violence but (IMO) little to no gore and it keeps the film "mature" by not distracting the audience with mere shock factor scenes because the Director doesn't need to. The powerful message, plot and acting already does that.

But I still prefer more subtle Directing in films, I mean (this is gonna make me sound really lame) but I find films like Aliens and The Blair Witch project pretty "thrilling" and its all down to psychologically manipulating the audience (phew! this is getting deep) rather then smacking them in the face with Bobs intestines not a nice thought also, sorry Bob

I think it would be interesting if there was a revival of Grace's school, but tbh it probably wont happen in the next film because not only would it serve next to no purpose in the plot but it would need to introduce another human character other then Norm who knows Navi etc. (it just wouldn't work. Also I don't think we'll see much of the humans in the next film (at least not the scientists anyway) as Cameron's kind of hinted at some sort of "family biopic" - I mean we'll see if I'm wrong in like 2 years - but I don't think Cameron will put too much emphasis on the Avatars as again the CG costs and it would add too much depth and "plot holes"/undeveloped character arcs, into the film.

Hellsgate is ideal for the remaining Avatar drivers, there's wooden barracks, fields to grow crops, an exercise area and even a basketball court. They can live there for a while and rebuild the school later.

at some point, they're gonna have to leave hellsgate, either for another living area or making the Eye of Eywa journey, because the rda/secops returning forces will be heading straight for hellsgate and out for blood, and there is no way that a bunch of scientists and avatar-drivers can hold off that bloodthirsty barbarian horde. i'm hoping that in the 6 years before the first ISV can arrive, that all the scientists can make the transition, and the Jake Sully-led Na'vi forces can effectively render the hellsgate complex unusable, destroy the runways, booby-trap the place with IEDs of sorts, and let it return to the elements over those 6 years. i would absolutely love to see imagery of tree roots punching through the concrete and forest reclaiming the site.
