The RDA and SecOps's role on Earth

Does the RDA and it's private army-the SecOps have any major role on earth? and what is the SecOps's role on earh? Would the Earth-based SecOps units have the same uniforms and weapons like on Pandora? Also, (from pure curiosity) does someone also besides the secops use the CARB weapon system and RDA handgun on earth? Not much info on this

The wiki says, that the CARB system is very popular.

But I'm not sure, if SecOps does anything on Earth.

I would imagine SecOps back on earth ranged from simple reception guards to armed security at mining and power plants though to paramilitary units used to pressure local countries and communities when necessary, probably in a tiered system. While their standing "military" force is small SecOps probably employs a lot of people.

I get the impression that a lot of the stuff SecOps uses on Pandora is kind of last generation or have a lot of advanced tech taken off to work in Pandoran conditions with the Sampson being described as a museum piece. Back on earth they would probably field more advanced weapons and armour.

In Pandorapedia, this sentence caught my eyes too. It's a soo cool little element of the Avatar universe.
In my opinion, the reason for this, is the manufacturing. On Pandora, the people have to build most of the equipment by themselves, with techniques like 3D printing, because the interstellar transportation costs are extremely expensive. They get the resources from the mines, and these get processed on the spot. I think they can't do anything too complex like high-powered laser weapons and things like that.

If they could, it would certainly make life easier for the remaining human inhabitants. Not in the sense that they would resume mining operations, but if this were the case, I would assume there would be enough Raw or Work In Process materials to keep the base operating for a while and replace things when they broke down.

Note there are some important stuff they can't manufacture. Aircraft engines, complicated electronics and medical supplies all have to be shipped in.

How much of that is "canon" though? Is it "game canon" or "movie canon"? Say what you will about the old Star Wars Expanded Universe, but they were very good about things like that.

Either way there are several fun implications in there, especially the "off-world locations". Would be interesting to see how many moons in the Solar System have been colonized.

the entire secops power structure and corps, need to go on trial for war crimes and crimes against the Na'vi People, specifically the Omaticaya Clan and the 15 clans who supplied warriors to fight the murderous aggression of the rda/secops hired thugs, and lost their lives in the bows versus gunships massacre at the Tree of Souls last stand.
