From what I remember (bear in mind this is ~8 years ago), you have to complete the tutorial first, but I do remember it being fairly linear, just go to the next area and talk to the NPC I guess

Lol damn that was back in the day, Tutorial island is no more sadly, now you do everything in lumbridge and dreynor, Tutorial island is still on the map i think

That reminds me, other than the tutorial you do when you first create your account (already finsihed that tutorial), do I need to do any other tutorials?

I hope not because I can't stand tutorails (not just in Runescape, but in anything). That first one I had to do with the dragon, ugh I couldn't even finish it in one sitting. . It's a LOT different than the one they had you do when I joined a few years ago.

Nah other then teaching you how to play you never have to do another tutorial again, unless there is one for a minigame you haven't played or something, which there isn't, so your good

I do miss the old version from the mid 2000's when I played it. Every year I login to see how far it has fallen. If it was like it was back then, I could probably get back into it.
