Unfortunatly i dont know. There was only a small item about it in a tourism book that was all about atmosphere and stuff and was mostly filled with pictures. It was actually quite a search to find the tree itself (maybe a good thing for the tree). There was also a picture in it of an abandoned manganese mine village called Newton i had read about earlier. That way we got pretty close. No road signs to it or mentioned anywere else. Should you ever go to Curacao, its near Playa Jeremi a very pretty and tiny beach between rocks. A great place to rest after the little hike to the tree
