sadly, i have yet to read any of these. my local comic shop never ordered any and the 3 free day copies were gone when i got there. are they available online for sale?

Please bear in mind those are digital copies of the comics. Also, they occasionally go on sale, so if you want and are willing to wait, I can let you know the next time I see them on sale for 99 cents an issue.

Sweet it really helped to show what Tsu'tey went through and solidified how important Sylwanin was to him and a bit how "talking to passed clan members work through tsaheylu with the tree of voices" works. It was a beautiful series.

There is a scene in the special & collector's edition where Tsu'tey leads a war party to destroy the bulldozers that destroyed the trees of voices and kill all of the RDA forces guarding them. Just....... what? What even is this? That caption with that cover makes me think Neytiri is about to kill Jake and.... thankfully they don't go that far off script or anything like that.

Great catch! I thought the same thing while reading the issue.

It seems as though this comic considers the theatrical release of the film truly canon, and the other cuts/deleted scenes as noncanonical. Or it’s just a simple oversight, and would’ve been corrected had it been spotted.

It would be, if it didn't also use the Sturmbeest hunt, the hunt festival (an incomplete deleted scene) and the extended fight between Jake and Tsu'tey as well all of which weren't in the theatrical version.

Sure, but if only the theatrical version is canon, then the scenes from the other versions (and script) are there for creators to draw inspiration from and incorporate on a case by case basis. It would be only the theatrical cut of the film that you truly had to be beholden too.

And of course, not everything in the alternate cuts not script could even *be* canon, such as the discrepancy between knife/gun for Tommy’s death. You have to pick one.

But agreed, it could certainly have just been an oversight.
