Don't say it's raining today,
water drops from the angel's eyes. These are not the storms of May. These are tears from the obscure sky. Don't say it's beautiful to see another day on our gray city, where we're both jailed, you and me behind high, cold walls of concrete Don't say I am depressed or sad. Don't tell me to get distracted with TV, that I might need to take some Prozac. I don't need painkillers, I want to be free. Free from the cynic nonsense of these bars Free from the city, and run to the green. This is the day the sky cried. And you were so busy that didn't notice it.

Very nice poem and a good critique of modern life.

Very well-written poem Zenit. I enjoyed it in a somewhat dark way.
