ì - 0236 writes ě for Polish  I'd like to find a code for my keyboard setup too (~ + a doesnt work here, it gives "ą"). Any ideas how? Charmap doesn't give a code for that char. Is there another way to find it?

I found via google, but i doubt there is a way in other languages. Alt 0236 gives ģ in estonian...
But really change your keyboard layout settings to English... If you don't know how, then ask
