Hello...please allow a new user to make their first post a suggestion.

I respect each new community I join, and while I recently started over at AF, I became aware of TOS and curiosity naturally led me here. I'm a bit older than the rather youthful demographic of AF too, and while that trend may prove similar here, I have to say immediately that I like the simpler layout, and the lesser posting din. In short, there seems to be more focus.

That said...my suggestion? It may be advantageous to have a new user intro sub-forum visible from the top menu...near the top too. "New Users Start Here" for example. Might be a good place for the rules threads, etc. It just seems that there's no place to say "Hey, I'm Steve from Tucson."
