I hope Na'viWalker isn't reading this, I have no beef with him really. He's treated me right and so I to him. This was before all of this happening, I was one of his artistic consultants for the Neytiri dream project. Since I can't do digital art, I decided to not give a rats ***. Experience is experience I say.

I learned alot from him, I'm sure going to miss him. Plus I'm going to miss those AF Shirts I wanted. I still want one, I don't care if it's a ToS label or an AF one. I want to tell the world that Apollo is here! And he's here to spread the will of Ewya!

-Plus I think his t-shirt choice was pretty original. I want that High-four inkblot!

I'm still buying one of those shirts, at least one. They are awesome.

My mind likes to fly out of the first window it sees; if you get a t-shirt soon, tell me about it please? PMs, visitor messages, a post, anything. Hell, if anyone is getting a shirt tell me, it doesn't all have to be on you Zong.

Well, from what I read, they may not even be making them now. They are asking for PMs from people who still want them, and given how unmotivated people usually are to do things like that, it probably will never happen.

Do you think he would sue me if I saved the designs and found a t-shirt manufacturer myself? It's a long shot but I need to know the risks before considering..

If it doesn't have a legal copyright on the design, then it wouldn't technically be wrong to take it and use it. Thing is, I don't think Na'viWalker really knows about copyrighting, since he almost always puts a watermark over his work. Watermarks are for people who can't get rights to their stuff. For instance, my Neytiri picture I made (you saw) doesn't need a watermark because I got it copyrighted off Creative Commons. Perhaps Na'viWalker did the same with his, but you'd only be able to tell if they're posted on his DeviantArt account with a label in his profile or somewhere next to the image that indicates this.

If no indication of a copyright is present with the work on any website, you're legally able to take his design and use it however you'd like.

If he does have a copyright on it and you take it anyway, the only way he could find out is if you started promoting the design as your own. If you sell the design and/or attribute it to yourself it's possible he could press charges. Even that link to that non-profiting organization I just gave has a disclaimer that shows court cases have been filed before over certain things with their liscense on it. The only way you could take Na'viWalker's design and use it for a T-Shirt is if you stayed under the radar, made no attention come to you, and used it for your own personal benefit. The manufacturer cannot detect a copyrighted image of any photoshopped work that's only available over a limited amount of areas on the internet. That is, if you want the design so badly, even if there's a copyright on it, use it for yourself, only yourself, and don't get caught.

I myself am shocked, but I knew that it would be coming.
The new forum design in AF was the last nail in the coffin for most of us.
The change in members attitudes and admins as well as the pic ban helped me change over to this place.
I'm sure there are other reasons why it had to come to this.
Unfortunately I found myself drifting away from AF, this place must be my new true calling.

THAT...... is an excellent observation. it feels like hometree was destroyed and Hells Gate 2 was constructed on top of it

Me and you both Pa'li the new design on AF felt alien to me. Peoples attitudes on AF have changed aswell, they do not see as we see. The will of Eywa has brought me here, and here I shall stay
