It was intended as a light-hearted question, perhaps even humourous. No, I do not, nor do many of us think the sole focus of this film are Na'vi bodies. I did point out that this thread contained mild mature themes. I cannot please everyone and I have the right, as part of this community, to share my opinions. What he/she said. C'mon guys its just a light hearted thread, we all know what the Na'vi mean to us, otherwise we wouldn't still be here on an Avatar forum everyday.

Perhaps I'm weird, but I was so immersed in Avatar's storyline that I didn't even notice how physically attractive everyone was. The characters are definitely attractive (and the "Neytiri is devastatingly beautiful" thread is very accurately titled), but I didn't find myself paying attention to the usual things one might stare at ... I'm mostly hooked on Neytiri's heart-melting smile. After having watched Avatar in theatres twice, I ran across some screencaps of the film here and was startled to see how revealing Neytiri's outfit was. I honestly hadn't even noticed, even after seeing the entire film twice!

Neytiri is devastatingly beautiful indeed. Makes me feel a little sad for Zoe Saldana, though, since she is exceptionally lovely in her own right. Her performance was dead on perfect for the charcter, but we never get to see her in the flesh.

This... I didn't notice it so much the first couple of times because I was so absorbed (very early on in my first viewing excepted), but then I started noticing more as well.

I don't remember looking particularly hard. You see thanks to excessive porn viewing I've actually become less of a pervert. Shocking isn't it?
The idea goes something like this: in the beginning everyone walked around naked because that's the way it had always been done, but eventually a group of tailors got tired of no one buying their clothes. Eventually they decided to make it seem wrong not to wear their clothes so that everyone would have to buy them. Time passed and people saw less and less of their covered bits. This created a hidden want to see each other, but thanks to the tailors this was considered wrong. However thanks to the internet it's become easy to do that again, so since it is no longer hard to come by the want for them has decreased.

Even then this movie is so detailed I notice so many new things each time I see it! Down to the detail that's James Cameron for you

I have a feeling we will still keep seeing things we never noticed before for time to come. I know I see something new everytime I watch Avatar. I think I've seen it now around 13 times now. Probably hit 15 by the weekend.

Well to be fair, there happens to be a couple scenes that direct your attention to that particular part of the Na'vi anatomy
