Picture Albums?

I know y'all don't want the server overloaded with Avatar screenshots and pics and whatnot, and I completely understand that, which is why my query is a little pointless but have been wanting to ask about it for a while. I kinda like the personal photo album thing.. was wondering if we could figure something like that out for here? Don't know how you would control the whole avatar-pic spamming thing, though. But anyway. Would be fun to be able to have an album or two of personal pics

I have thought about this some over the past weeks.

Ideally, what I would like to do is this: activate the album feature, but make it a clear rule that it is for personal photos or artwork only. Screen caps or official images of Avatar would not be allowed, both for server resources and legal reasons. This approach would create another area that the moderators and admins would have to monitor though, so I'd like to hear from them if they think they can/want to handle the additional work.

Being able to post personal images is definitely part of community building though, so it is something I would like to be able to work out.

I'm not sure i really understand what this photo album entails. Is it just personal photo's of forum members grouped together in a family-like style? (Because that sounds pretty cute!)

I like the idea.

As for what the photo album is, it just lets members upload photos to the server and has an area on their profile for their photos.
